William G. Tremain

Tremain, William G., 78, of Johnstown. Died Mar. 17, 2015 at Memorial Medical center. Born Dec. 11, 1936 in Johnstown. Son of the late George W. and Edith M. (Howard) Tremain. Also preceded in death by sister, Juanita J.(Richard E. Tracewell); mother and father in law, Frank and Irene Brant; brothers in law, James R. and Barry L. Brant; and nephew, PJ Urso. Survived by wife of 49 years, Sharon E. (Brant); and sons, William G. III, Johnstown; David S., married to the former Kimberly (Harris), Boswell;  and Todd Michael and Fiancée’, Dana L. (Maldet), Johnstown. Grandchildren; Hunter and Davia Tremain; and sister in laws, Deborah J. (Peter Urso) and Betty Lou Brant; special nephews and niece, Jeff and Dee Dee, Shane, Eric and other nieces and nephews. 1955 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. Retired from GTE and operated Tremain’s Hoover Repair Service. Member of Jenners Community Sportsmen. Bill loved to hunt and fish with his boys and also enjoyed the beach. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather who will be greatly missed. Friends received 2-8 PM Thursday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and from 10 AM to time of service at 11 AM Friday at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Pastor Peter Nordlund, officiating.
