Neary – William C. Jr., 78, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2022. Born on February 27, 1943 in Johnstown, son of William C. Sr. and Izora (Wilson) Neary. Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kim Jardina-Percherke; sisters, Sheila and Ruth Neary, and a brother, John. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Thomasene A. “Tucker” (Buzzard) Neary; children, William (Kathy) Neary III, Stacey (Donnie) Hrapchak, James (Sue Ann) Jardina III; grandchildren, William (Jamie) Farris, Lindsey (Michael) Hammond, James Jardina IV, Dustin Roudabush, Anthony (Katie) Jardina, Matthew Percherke, Luke Hrapchak, Nicholas Hrapchak, Zek Hagy, Billy Neary, Charlie Neary, and Terri Harry; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Neary, Madison Neary, Peyton Hammond, Isabella Jardina, Billy Neary, and Charlie Neary; sister, Becky Bowers; brother, Phillip (Jenie) Neary, and several nieces and nephews. Bill was a proud Veteran serving in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Bethlehem Steel after 18 years of service as a crane operator and later retired from Scmidt Bakery as a Supervisor after 15 years of service. Bill was a member of Menoher Post #155 V.F.W. He was very proud of his Irish heritage. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing. He and his wife, Tucker hosted Christmas Eve get togethers for over 45 years for family and friends. Bill loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his kind and caring nature, but most of all his wonderful and endearing laugh. A private Memorial Service will be held at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private entombment will be at Richland Mausoleum.
