Hasse, William M., 62, of Elton. Died Aug. 28, 2012, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Born May 28, 1950, in Johnstown. Son of the late Donald J. and Madaline (Rector) Hasse. Also preceded in death by brother Donald Jr. and in-laws, the late Jay and Dorothy Helsel. Survived by loving wife of 39 years, Patricia A. (Helsel) and children; Jason, husband of Heidi (Nagy), Summerhill; and Deana, wife of Lance McGough, also of Summerhill. Also, precious grandchildren; Carlie, Payton, Si and Koy McGough. Brother of Valerie, wife of David Druzak, Johnstown; and Michael, married to Vicky (Sandmaier), Windber.Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 1968 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School and Greensburg Technical School.Veteran of Vietnam War, stationed in Germany.Worked at US Steel, CAMCO, GMI and DRS Technologies. Attended Elton Zion United Methodist Church. Bill was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, who enjoyed spending time with his family, riding motorcycles with his friends, the âRib Ridersâ, and cheering on the Steelers. Friends received from 4 to 8 pm Friday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday. Rev.
