Guyan - William R. Jr., “Bob”, 81, Seymour. TN, formerly of Richland, went to be with the Lord on December 4, 2024 in Tennessee, where he had relocated in 2011 after retiring. Born December 20, 1942 in Johnstown, son of William R. Sr and Betty (Wirfel) Guyan.
Preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Bobby, and sister, Gwen Kelly.
Bob was a devoted husband to his loving wife of 52 years, Bonnie (Burkett); sister-in-law, Pam (Corey) Orlich, Maryland; brothers-in-law, Edward (Becky Blough) Burkett, Wisconsin and David (Beth Shearman) Burkett, Johnstown. Nieces and nephews, Amanda (John)Ahern, Kristina Orlich, Sarah (Connor) Crisp, Scott Burkett and Edward Burkett. Great nieces and nephews, Theo Davis, Evelyn Ahern, Colton Crisp and Jenna Burkett
Bob retired from Dictaphone Corporation after numerous years of service as a Branch Manager. He was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Bob enjoyed traveling with Bonnie and their dogs.
At Bob’s request there will be no viewing or funeral service. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12th, at Grandview Cemetery with the Rev. John Mize officiating. Military rites will be conducted by Menoher Post #155 VFW Ritual Team. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, One Wild Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 in memory of Bob.
