William G. "Bill" Jaber

Jaber, William G., “Bill”, 65, of East Conemaugh, passed away on August 7, 2011, at his residence. He was born on April 20, 1946 in Johnstown. Son of William and Lena (Deluca) Jaber. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Michael Mindala. Survived by loving wife of 16 years, Catherine A. (Mindala) Jaber, East Conemaugh; sons, William (Dina) Jaber and Christopher (Manuela) Jaber, all of Tampa, FL, step daughters, Brenda wife of Peter Poborski, Bon Air, Beverly wife of Robert Murphy, East Conemaugh, Bonita Himes and her friend, Joseph Burkhart both of Franklin Borough, and Denise wife of Kristopher Reynolds, East Conemaugh; mother-in-law, Mildred Mindala; grandson, Alexander Joseph Jaber; step grandchildren, David (Faye), Peter (Loren), Kelly, Michael III (Amanda), Aimee (Deshawn), Kathleen, Kelsey, Jenna, Phillip, Kristie, Oliver, and Hannah; 9 step great grandchildren; a sister-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends, including his best friend, Robert Lowery. He was a graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School. Bill received a bachelor degree in Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh. He was employed at C.R. Bard, Stryker Orthopedic and American Surgical as a Medical Device Salesman. Bill was a member of the P.N.A. Group #1569; Conemaugh-Franklin American Legion Post #633 and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #1811. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Bill enjoyed watching sports, especially Pitt, Buffalo Bills and Gators football. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In the infamous words of Bill, “See you later, it’s been great”.
