Frombach, William Henry âBillâ, 67, died on March 10, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center following a long period of declining health. He was born on July 9, 1944 in Johnstown. Son of the late William and Elizabeth (Schweitzer) Frombach. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Gertrude Faint. Bill is survived by his companion and wife of 9 years, Tammy (Nemeth) Frombach; son, Steven Frombach and stepson, Nick Tercek, Johnstown; daughters, from previous marriage to Judith (Leonard), Terrie Costlow, Kelly McGuire, and Jennifer Mcmanus; two grandchildren; and his older sister Elsie Goughenour, MD. William had a wonderful childhood in Johnstown and enjoyed his high school days at Ferndale High where he excelled playing trumpet in the band. Following graduation, he worked for thirty-six years as a telephone man at General Telephone Company. Upon his retirement Bill aquired Geistown Country Club, Incorporated. He loved that club, and patrons loved going there. Bill always made the time you spent with him enjoyable. He was very personable, entertaining, and humorous. Bill was an avid fan of NASCAR racing and he loved to build hotrods as a hobby. He was a diehard Steeler Fan and hosted several Super Bowl parties at the club. âBummyâ, as his friends affectionately called him, lived his life to the fullest, and in his memory, so should we. The Family will receive friends on from 3-7 P.M., time of Service on Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Chris Valente, officiating.
