Wayne P. Dravis

Dravis, Wayne P., 75, of Salix. Died Aug. 31, 2017, at Conemaugh Medical Center after a long battle with Parkinson's. Born Nov. 2, 1941, in Windber. Son of the late Harry J. and Mary I. (Naughton) Dravis. Also preceded in death by siblings; Thomas Dravis and Ida Dann. Survived by wife of 51 years, Kathleen K. (Kluk); children, Christopher P. Dravis, Pittsburgh; and Veronica K. Dravis (Sean Levy), Celestun, Mexico. Brother of Linda (Edwin) Beanblossom; Diane (Rick) Bunn; Robert (Jan Heidorn); and Tim Dravis. Numerous nieces and nephews. 1961 graduate of Richland High School. Wayne served in the U.S. Army Reserves, 458th engineer battalion. Retired co-owner and past president of Dravis Lumber Co. Life-time member and past president of the Geistown-Richland Lions Club. Member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber where Funeral Mass will be held at 2 PM Tuesday Sept. 5, 2017. Fr. Rod Soha, TOR, Pastor. At request of deceased there will be no public viewing, however relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Mass. Private interment.
