Wayne R. Bailey

Bailey – Wayne R., 53, South Fork, passed away unexpectedly on Good Friday, April 18, 2014 at his home. Born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1960 in Johnstown, son of John R.  and Dorothy M. (Eppley) Bailey. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Danny “Pete” Bailey. He will be mourned by his loving wife and best friend Deettra “Dee Dee”; loving son Jared (Leah) Bailey, Greensburg, PA; Loving son Jonathan, Bridgeport, WV; loving sister Patricia (Dan) Meyers, Beaver, PA; brother Dennis (Debbie) Bailey, South Fork, PA; sister-in-law Carol Felix, Portage, PA; parents-in-law James W. & Ruth Fresh, Johnstown; brother-in-law James K. (Stephanie) Fresh, Pittsburgh, PA; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who are loved very much. Wayne was a 1978 graduate of Forest Hills High School and long time employee of Galliker’s Dairy. He was a strong, hard-working man with a gentle spirit, mischievous smile, and a deep love for his family. Wayne loved the outdoors and took great pride in maintaining his house and yard. He took great joy in seeing his oldest son, Jared, marry and loved watching his youngest son, Jonathan, participate in body building competitions. Friends and relatives will be received from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Thomas Moore officiating. Private inurnment will be at Richland Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In honor of his love of animals, the family suggests contributions be directed to Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602 or a charity of one’s choice in memory of Wayne.
