Warren E. Weaver

WEAVER- Warren E., “Bud”, 96, of Richland. Died April 20, 2023 at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born Mar. 13, 1927 in Windber. Son of the late Warren P. and Freda (Shumaker) Weaver. Also preceded in death by wife Jeanette; siblings Robert, Joan Jessell, Frances Garman.; and several nieces and a nephew.  Survived by son Brian A. Weaver; and sister in law, Elizabeth Weaver; also, numerous nieces and nephews; and furry friend “Max”. A WW II veteran of the Army Air Corps. Retired supervisor from Johnstown Plant, Bethlehem Steel. After retirement Bud and his brother Bob did various construction jobs in the area. In his younger years, he enjoyed working at his uncle Dutch Weaver’s farm. Bud also enjoyed hunting and shooting at the Quemahoning Trap and Skeet Club,  wood working and spending time with family. Member of Scalp Level Covenant Brethren Church where funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday. Friends received from 4 to 8 pm Monday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and one hour prior to service at church. Pastor Mark Murchie, officiating.
