HORN----Warren W., 94, Westmont, went to be with his Savior on January 18, 2025 at home. Born Oct. 16, 1930, in Johnstown, son of the late John and Grace (Cunningham) Horn. Also preceded in death by sister, Lois Weaver and brother, Paul Horn. Survived by wife of 33 years, Nyleve K. (Maynard) Horn; daughter, Linda E. Lynn; step-daughter, JoEllen K. (Robert) Barish; son, Albert and step-son, Ed Kirkwood and the Mishkov family; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Brother of Boyd Horn. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Warren served in the US Marine Reserves in 1948 as an Engineer then activated to active duty during the Korean conflict and was discharged in February of 1952. He was a life member of the Rolling Rock Marine Corps League Detachment and the Devil Dogs. Warren was active with the Original Toys for Tots. He retired from the Johnstown Plant of Bethlehem Steel Corp. after 32 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, 268 Hostetler Road, Johnstown, PA 15904, where the family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dr. Jared Havener and Rev. Dr. David Karlberg co-officiating, followed by Military rites by the Conemaugh Valley Marine Corps League, Detachment #287. Committal, Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Trinity Presbyterian Church, in memory of Warren W. Horn. (Online condolences may be posted at www.wharrisfuneralhome.com)
