Lodolinski, Walter, 87, of Richland. Died Sept. 27, 2017, at home. Born Sept. 10, 1930, in Colver, PA. Son of the late Edward and Amelia (Swarden) Lodolinski. Also preceded in death by sisters, Jean and Mary Ann Mangrum. Survived by wife of 58 years, Barbara J. (Sherron); children, Peggy, Mark, Walter S., Janet (Tim) Hoff and Mary Ann; grandchildren, Heather (Jasin), Christopher, Timothy, Bonnie and Meghan; Erin, Ashlee and Jordan; TaraLynne (Matthew Ribblett), Arielle, Mary Ann, Amelia and Timothy; Travis, Gino, Antonio and Selena; great grandchildren, Sage, Stephen, Orion; Rebecca, Matthew, Carmello, Adessa, Keith, Emma and Lincoln Walter; and Mason. Navy Veteran of Korea. Walter attended St. Francis College and earned a Master’s Degree in Mathematics. Retired from Windber Area School District with 33 years’ service and coached baseball. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, where he served as an usher and belonged to the Knights of Columbus. Walter coached little league baseball for many years. Great sports fan and fisherman. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who greatly enjoyed his family and their activities. He touched thousands of lives and was beloved by all. Friends received 3-7 PM Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil Service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM Monday at St. Benedict Church, Geistown. Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor.
