W. Marie O'connor

O’Connor, W. Marie, 88, of Belmont.  Died Sept 20, 2013, at Arbutus Park Manor.  Born March 16, 1925, in Altoona PA.  Daughter of the late Frederick and Cecilia (Albright) Raeder.  Also preceded in death by husband, Christopher A. O’Connor; Daughter Dorothy and Son Christopher; siblings Earl, Pauline Haigh, Harriet Charlesworth, Joseph and Regina Emery.   Survived by daughter Debra (Albert) Machak; grandchildren, Christopher; Lisa (and special friend William Carnell); great-granddaughter Alana and Willie, Kate and Becca. Sister of Margaret Leberfinger, Altoona.  Special thanks to Rick & Jenny Wagner family  and Gretchen Lugar for their many years of friendship and care.  Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, where she worked in the school cafeteria.   Also was employed at Greater Johnstown Area Vo-Tech.   She was a devoted wife, mother and nanny who loved spending time with her family.  Friends received 3-8 pm Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil service will be held.  Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday at St. Benedict Church.  Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor, Committal at Richland Cemetery.
