Curry â Vivian, 92, formerly of Johnstown, PA went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2014 at her daughterâs residence in Cortland, OH. Born on March 24, 1922 in Juniata, PA, daughter of George and Sadie Saleeba. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alex Curry; daughters, Georgeann and Jacqueline Curry; sisters, Matilda Evans, Nellie Kovac, Betty Sipes and brother, Samuel Saleeba. She is survived by her loving children, Alexis, wife of George Graff, Cortland, OH and Jeffrey, married to the former Donna Stanovich, Greensburg, PA; grandchildren, Tamara (Graff), wife of William Gregg, Richmond, VA, Trevor Graff, married to the former Paige Valderrama, Houston, TX. Lindsay (Curry), wife of Dominick Carnicella, Monroeville, PA, Ashley (Curry), wife of Michael Ponterio, Latrobe, PA, and April Curry and her fiancée, Michael Dalicandro, Greensburg, PA; great grandchildren, Juliana Mattis Ponterio, and Ava Carnicella; sister, Evelyn, wife of Richard Clark Sr., New Hope, PA and many nieces and nephews. Vivian was a 1941 graduate of Johnstown High School. She retired from S&H Green Stamp Redemption Center, where she was employed as Assistant Manager. Vivian was a member of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, Johnstown. She enjoyed gardening, love of hats, and sewing. Vivian loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 & 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, where Trisagion Prayers will be offered at 8 p.m. An additional viewing will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m., Very Rev. Fr. Donald E. Shadid. Committal will be at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
