CASTIGLIONE—Victoria A. (Formica), 100, Johnstown, passed away on June 10, 2019, at Laurelwood Care Center. Born April 25, 1919, in Johnstown, daughter of Carmelo and Salvatora (Bonfiglio) Formica. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Andrew; son, Andrew Jr., brothers, Patsy and Anthony Formica; sister, Josephine and brother-in-law, John Truscello; granddaughter, Madison Stetson; favorite cousin, Paul Bonfiglio and special friend, John Chanonich. Survived by son, Anthony Castiglione and wife, Rebecca, Johnstown; daughter-in-law, Deborah Castiglione, Johnstown; son, Joseph Castiglione and wife, Beth, Fort Sill, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Annette Mucci and husband, Jeff, Canonsburg; Marcellina Brown and husband, Kevin, Johnstown; grandson, Owen Stetson; great-grandson, Kevin Brown; sister-in-law, Josephine Formica; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Victoria was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother “Gaga”, aunt, mother-in-law and friend who loved to laugh and have a good time. She had a deep faith in the Lord and a strong devotion to St. Anthony. Mom and Dad loved to dance and they were a sight to behold when they danced the Jitterburg. She was a stay at home mom who cared for family and home. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a very active volunteer at the Senior Center in Johnstown. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, and again from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Thursday with Fr. David S. Peles Pastor, officiating. Committal, St. Anthony’s Cemetery. A special thanks to all of the staff at Laurelwood Care Center for the exceptional loving care and friendship given to Victoria over the last 8 years. You all became very special people to our family. May God bless each and every one of you!
