Vera "Sis" Mae Partsch

Partsch, Vera Mae, "Sis", 96, of Cover Hill. Died Jan. 28, 2018, at Richland Health Care. Born Mar. 9, 1921, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Jacob and Minnie (Voeghtly) Schellhammer. Also preceded in death by husband, Raymond J. "Moon" Partsch, Sr.; great grandson, Noah Partsch; siblings, Agnes McCleester, Frederick, Carl, Henry, James, Joseph, Leo, Dorothy Schellhammer, Roseella McGuire and Elmer. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by children, Rebecca (Terry) Berkebile, Raymond Jr. (Sharon) Partsch; and Christine (Raymond) Leichliter; grandchildren, Donald, Danielle, Patrick, Shanna, Amanda, Malissa, Nicole and Tammy; great grandchildren, Dylan, Cody, Julie, Austin, Devin, Roman, Darrion, Benjamin, Aleaha, Dameyon, Samuel and Mira. Member of SS. Gregory & Barnabas Catholic Church, Alter & Rosary Society, Stitchers Club, Cover Hill Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and Cambria County Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary. Vera was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family. She volunteered at the church fish fries and enjoyed camping. Friends received 2-8 PM Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil Service will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 AM Thursday at SS. Gregory & Barnabas Church, Daisytown.
