Vera Jane Allison

Allison, Vera Jane, 86, of Richland.  Died November 6, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center.  Born July 8, 1926 in Ohio.  Daughter of the late Elno A. and Ruth V. (Richardson) Moore.  Preceded in death by these siblings: Frederick , Robert, Carol Shaffer.  Survived by these siblings: Ginger Sell, Doris Turnbull, Donna Unger, Phyllis Ream, Dennis Moore, and Judy Sellers.  Survived by husband of 64 years, T. Wayne Allison and these children: Bruce, married to former Deborah Leventry,  Richland; Daniel, married to Lou Ann Barry, Greensboro, NC; Pamela, wife of Paul Carpenter, Landisville, PA; Mary, wife of Michael Dooley, Lancaster, PA; Kimberly, wife of Fred Huet, Friedens, PA; John, French Creek, WV; and Julie, wife of Paul Goggin, Davidsville, PA. Grandchildren: Scott, Ben, Kathy, Jennifer, Christina, Andrew, Paul, Katie, Eric, Allison, John, and Jarrett; and great- grandchildren: Megan, Taylor, Sara Jane, Connor, Piper and Chloe. Member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren. Vera was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great -grandmother, sister and friend who was loved by all and will be missed dearly. Friends received 2-8 pm Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and 10 am to time of service at 11 am Friday at the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren.  Rev. Ron Barto, officiating.  Entombment at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. Family suggests donations to Arbutus Park Manor, 207 Ottawa St., Johnstown, Pa. 15904, in memory of Vera J. Allison.
