Velda P. Mastovich

Mastovich, Velda P., 81, of East Taylor Township, went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2012. She was born on October 17, 1930 in Johnstown. Daughter of Leo and Violet (Jones) Briggs. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Nicholas Mastovich. She is survived by her loving family; son, Mark A., married to the former Connie Stoika, and their sons, Devin and Tristan all of East Taylor Township, son, Paul B., married to the former Susan Niccolai and their sons, Nicholas and Noah all of Westwood, son, Greg L., married to the former Dawn C. Sellers and their son, Skyler and Sage and Greg’s daughter, Katlyn and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Velda was a graduate of Franklin High School. She was a member of Summit Chapel United Methodist Church. Velda was an avid reader and enjoyed attending church activities. She loved spending time with her entire family especially her grandchildren. Friends will be received from noon until time of service at 3 P.M. on Thursday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231` First Street, Conemaugh, with the Rev. John H. Weaver officiating. Private inurnment will be at Headrick Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family suggests contributions be directed to Summit Chapel United Methodist Church, 2142 William Penn Avenue  Johnstown, PA 15909 in memory of Velda.
