Naugle, Twila M, 91, of Richland Township. Passed away on March 12, 2011 at Arbutus Park Manor. She was born on May 26, 1919, in Windber. Daughter of Frank and Bessie (Lehman) Kelley. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert E. âBobâ Naugle; daughter, Janice E. Thornton; grandson, Robert Thornton; brother, Harold Kelley and brother-in-law, Larry Thornton. Twila is survived by a son, Duane, married to the former Theresa Kmett, Schellsburg; and a daughter, Nancy L. (Felix) Loew, SC; grandchildren, Rebecca, wife of Patsy Morello, Il, Thomas Naugle and his wife, Tricia, Schellsburg, Cynthia (Thornton) Hoffman and Terry, both of Geistown; Scott Thornton, Mechanicsburg, and Andrew Felix, Johnstown; step grandchildren, Renae (Hoffman), wife of Ron Shearer, Mt Hope, Tammy (Hoffman), wife of Marty Jenkins, Summerhill and Tracy Hoffman, Geistown; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Melissa, Melanie, Anthony, and Michael; step great grandchildren, Jimmy, Scott, Jesse, Alysia, and Autumn; great-great granddaughter, Cassie; sister, Leonore Earnest, New Paris; sisters-in-law, Alice Bloom, and May Jane Krise both of Richland Township and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many special friends. Twila was a graduate of Adams High School. She was a member of Dunmyer Lutheran Church; Solomon Run Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she and her late husband, Bob were voted King and Queen. Twila enjoyed crocheting, crafts and shopping. She will be remembered as a hard working farmerâs wife who raised three kids and fostered fourteen children. Twilaâs family would like to extend a special heart felt thank you to the staff at Arbutus Park Manor, who were her extended family that loved and comforted her especially in her final hours. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday and from 9 A.M. until time of service at 10 A.M. on Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Nila Cogan officiating. Interment will take place at Richland Cemetery.
