Tim McQuaide

McQuaide, Robert Tim, 71, Jenner Township, formerly of Richland, passed away on Dec. 14, 2020 in Johnstown. Born June 21, 1949 in Pittsburgh. Son of Leland R. and Dorothy M. (Maier) McQuaide. Preceded in death by first wife Marion McQuaide, daughter Ami Shaffer and brother Brett McQuaide. Survived by his parents, wife Kimberly McQuaide and daughter Jessica McQuaide, sons, Steven (Shannon) McQuaide and Michael McQuaide. Grandchildren, Jacob Shaffer, Erin Shaffer, Tyler McQuaide, Kathryn McQuaide, Austin McQuaide and Alyssa McQuaide. Also, great-grandson Roman Shaffer. Tim enjoyed golfing and spending time with family and friends. He was employed for many years at WC McQuaide from which he retired as comptroller. Tim is a graduate of UPJ where he earned his bachelor's degree in business. Past President of former Richland Twp. Area Jaycees where he won numerous state awards. Tim then went on to represent PA Jaycees in national competition. Tim also built the first BMX race track in Cambria County. All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Somerset, 204 Whitetail Rd. Somerset PA 15501, in memory of Tim McQuaide.
