Baywood, Threse F., âMrs. B â, 87, of Johnstown. Died Jan. 31, 2015, at Windber Hospice after a brief illness. Born Dec. 6, 1927, in Windber. Daughter of the late John and Rose Marie (Marano) Capatch. Also preceded in death by husband, Charles W. Baywood in 1974; brother, Jack Capatch; sister, Edna Mae Petronick-Worthington; and long time companion, Edward Kuzma. Survived by these children; Threse, Davidsville; Ronald (Joyce), Ocean View, DE; John, Ocean View, DE; Jeffrey (Sarah), Woodbury, CT; William (Karen), Bethel, CT; and grandsons, Matthew, Bethel, CT; Charlie, Woodbury, CT. Sister of Anthony (Betty) Capatch, Windber. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other members of the Capatch and Baywood families. Member of St. Clement Church where she had been active with many social and fund raising events over the years. She worked at the Parish Rectory in the mid 1970âs. Widowed at an early age, she went to work at Mercy HospitaL, as a Unit Secretary in the Emergency Department. For 25 years, she not only performed the duties of her job, but she also provided meals, snack, and treats for the entire staff and many others. Her generosity cannot adequately be expressed in words. For more than 30 years, she and her companion Ed spent winters in Florida. There she created lasting friendships with many people with whom she shared her home made culinary delights. Threse enjoyed dancing, cooking, baking and doing whatever she could to make others happy. She will be remembered as an independent, hard working, kind, and generous woman. Friends received 2-8 PM Friday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Saturday at St. Clement Catholic Church. Fr.
