Marshall, Thomas R, 86, of East Conemaugh. Died Nov. 12, 2011, at Windber Hospice. Born Jan. 1, 1925, in Spangler (Watkins). Son of the late Blair and Katherine (McMullen) Marshall. Also preceded in death by sisters; Goldie, Kate, Olive, Margaret, and brothers; Barney, George, Dale and Frank. Survived by wife of 60 years, Ann (Kormanik) and these children; Tom, married to Deborah (Woolf), Karen, and Judy, all of Johnstown. Grandchildren; Jackie, Kelly, Sam, Luke, Rory and Kyle Marshall. Great grandchildren; Eric and Kendall. Brother of Ruth, wife of Dan Claussen, Indianapolis, IN; and Jack, married to Marrianne (Post), York, PA. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Tom quit school, joined the Army and served in the Pacific Theatre during WW II. A proud member of the UMWA, he worked all his life in the coal mines, retiring from Bethlehem Mine 32. An intensely private man, he requested that there be no visitation. Member of the Church of the Transfiguration where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am Monday (Friends invited). Fr.
