Mater, Terry G., 79, of Richland Township, passed away on November 18, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital. He was born on September 12, 1932 in Altoona, PA. Son of Robert and Verna (Soyster) Mater. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Mater. He is survived by his loving wife, Eva B. (Young) Mater, Richland Township; daughters, Cathy J. wife of Jay Blough, Richland Township, Debra S. wife of Ernest Sedei, Ferndale, Kim A. Waddell, Richland Township and Susan J. Hull and her partner, Aaron Polke, Stonycreek Township; grandchildren, Jayson Blough and Justin Blough married to the former Krista Jones, all of Richland Township, Kurt Sedei and his Fiancee, Rachael Byrom, Pittsburgh, Cody Sedei, Ferndale, Stephanie Waddell and her fiancé, James Kleitches, East Conemaugh and Amanda Waddell, Richland Township, Jennifer Waddell, Richland Township, Matthew Hull and his girl friend, Cara Carpin, Pittsburgh, Zachary Hull married to the former Bethann Tiedman, Pittsburgh; great grandchildren, Colby, Aidan, and Ryder Blough, and Addison Waddell and Zackery Shaffer; sister, Joline Maurer, Altoona, PA and several nieces, nephews and many friends. Terry was a graduate of Altoona High School. He was a 20 year Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Terry retired after 30 years of service from PENELEC where he was Supervisor of the Duplicating Department. He was a member of the Belmont United Methodist Church and the PENELEC Retirees. Terry enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting, playing softball, and wood working. He loved spending time with his entire family, especially his grandchildren. Terry was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and was loved very much and will be missed. Friends will be received from 3-7 P.M. on Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland Township and from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. on Monday at Belmont United Methodist Church, with the Rev.
