Tara Kathleen Plovish

Plovish – Tara Kathleen, 37, Blough. The biggest 2 year-old took her last car ride to God’s swing set on September 7, 2016.  She passed away peacefully at home with her Mom and Dad at her side. Those who went before her to make sure there are plenty of potato chips and Slim Jims were her paternal grandparents, Steve and Geraldine (Miller) Plovish and her maternal grandmother Francis (LaPorta) Niovich. Those left behind to clean up empty snuff cans are her loving parents, Larry and Kathleen (Niovich) Plovish, sister and brother-in-law Vanessa and Steve Gustkey, and Tara’s niece and buddy Peyton Gustkey. And of course, Tara’s furry four-legged sister, Mitzi. Tara will also be missed and fondly remembered by her two special care givers, Christel and Laureen, her extended family at SKILLS of Cambria County, all of her hunting camp family, her new extended family of the congregation of the Way of Hope, and numerous friends and family. Being a special needs child with multiple medical conditions never stopped our Queeny from causing mischief and trouble whenever she could.  It was her way of keeping everyone on their toes. Those that knew her best can tell you that she had a friendly heart and gentle soul. Despite her outward appearance, her soft smile and kind eyes could quickly put anyone at ease. She could win your friendship faster than she could snatch the glasses off of your face. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Robert L.
