T. Richard Ellenberger

Ellenberger, T. Richard, “Dick”, 87, of Westmont. Died Sept. 1, 2015, at Laurel View Village. Born Sept. 22, 1927, in Butler, PA. Son of Leona Titus. Adopted son of his grandparents, the late Thomas Ross and Elizabeth (Bowers) Ellenberger. Also preceded in death by wife of 62 years, Joan A. (Jackel) Ellenberger. Survived by sons; Dr. Thomas R. Jr. (Elisa), Johnstown; Timothy L. (Pamela), South Carolina; and Dr. Dennis L. (Michele), Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Elisabeth, Kristy (Dan), Richard (Emily), Laura, Douglas (Joy), Rebecca, Annie, Mark (Jessica) and Julie(Steve); and 3 great grandchildren; Kara, Olivia and Heidi. Graduated from Mercersburg Academy and Westminster College. Retired Sales Manager for Ohio State Life with 20 years’ service. Former member of Westmont Presbyterian Church. Dick was president of West Suburban Little League in the mid 1960’s. Friends received 10 to time of service at 10:30 AM Saturday at Laurel View Village Chapel. Chaplain Jeff Bassette, officiating.
