Susanna F. Shuman

Shuman – Susanna F., 60, Duncansville, formerly of East Conemaugh, died December 13, 2022, at UPMC Altoona. Born October 17, 1962, in Pittsburgh, daughter of Nathaniel and Carol Williams. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Larry B. Shuman.

 Survived by loving children, Steven Shuman, Duncansville, PA, Joshua Paul (Dakota) Shuman, Washington, PA, Nicole Marie Hayes, Washington, and George Douglas Shuman, Johnstown; grandchildren, siblings, Monica Williams, Nathaniel “Jay” Williams, and Tarah Eldridge all of Pittsburgh; several nieces, nephews, and many friends, including James Orris and his daughters.

Graduate of Wilkinsburg High School. Susanna was employed as a registered nurse at various hospitals between Allegheny and Cambria County. She also worked at Med Van Transport for many years. Susanna will be remembered for her honesty and quick wit. She ate lunch and diner every day, but now she is in heaven having her just desserts.

At Susanna’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. Private burial will be at Headrick Union Cemetery. The family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First St., Conemaugh. Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
