Susan J. Sauro

Sauro – Susan J., 55, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2022. Born on June 25, 1966 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Donald J. and Lavada J. (Clark) Karalfa, Johnstown. Preceded in death by her father, brother-in-law, Tom Flook; aunt, Mary Louise “Cookie” Dietz; uncles, Robert Karafa and Donald Clark. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Mark A. Sauro Sr.; son, Mark A. Jr., Johnstown; daughter, Amanda L. (Sam) Blough, Johnstown; grandchildren, Alana G. Blough, and Peanut; sisters, Kathy L. (Bill) Davis, Transfer, PA, Donna M. (Charles) Weyant, Rostraver, PA, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Susan was a 1984 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She was employed by the former Kwik G’s as the Assistant Manager. Susan was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed her family, reading, puzzles and crafts and traveling. More than anything, Susan loved spending time with her entire family especially her granddaughter. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Friday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Memorial Baptist Church, with the Rev. Carl Irwin officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions be directed to the family in memory of Susan.
