Steven J. Niessner

Niessner – Steven J., 63, of Salix went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2024. Born on May 30, 1961 in Johnstown. Son of the late Edward L . and Patricia Ann (Ingavo) Niessner, Richland.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Scott E. Niessner.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving partner of 36 years, Colleen MacArthur, Salix; sons, Luke (Kristen) Niessner, Windber, and Steven K. MacArthur, Salix; granddaughters, Eliana, Harper, and Brynleigh; siblings, Victoria (Gary) Hutchison, Robert (Brenda) Niessner. He was a 1979 graduate of Richland High School. He was a US Navy Veteran.

Steven was employed at QVC and Franklin Mint as an Electrician. He enjoyed being Joan Rivers personal driver at QVC several years, as well as working in his green house. Steven had a great sense of humor and will be for keeping everyone in stitches as well as being a contortionist.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23rd, at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor.
