Galayda, Stephen A., “Sonny”, 60, of East Conemaugh. Died July 5, 2014, at home. Born Dec. 12, 1953, in Johnstown. Son of the late Steve and Florence (Niepoky) Galayda. Survived by wife of 31 years, Carol J. (Kudel) and these children; James, at home; Jennifer, Kansas; Julia, wife of Joshua Fulmer, Connecticut; and Stephen, Jr., at home. Brother of Larry, of East Conemaugh; Stephanie, wife of Frank Biss, Conemaugh; and Phillip, married to Michelle (Miller), East Conemaugh. Grandchildren; Chase and Evelyn.  1971 Graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. Air Force Veteran. Retired from DRS Technologies. Enjoyed reading, building models and his family. Private visitation and  Blessing Service  with Fr. Robert Hall, Officiating. Private Committal. Family is being served by Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh.
