Stella Woytovich

Woytovich – Stella, 92, Johnstown, formerly of Woodvale, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2015 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born on February 13, 1923 in Johnstown, daughter of Nicholas and Mary (Metrovich) Woytovich. Preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Anna May Woytovich. She is survived by her close friend, Atty: Russell J. Heiple, Johnstown. Stella was a graduate of Johnstown High School. She was owner and operator of the former Maple Avenue Tavern, Johnstown. Stella was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, East Conemaugh. She enjoyed reading and walking around the neighborhood. At Stella request there will be no public viewing. Funeral Service will be sung at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Grandview Cemetery with the Very Reverend Father George Johnson. The family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, East Conemaugh. Stella’s family suggests contributions be directed to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 427 First Street, Conemaugh PA 15909 in memory of Stella.
