Shirley was voted Mrs. Johnstown in the 1960âs, she was extremely proud of her Hungarian heritage and as a native Johnstowner she loved the area for its ethnic diversity. Shirley was a long-term member and advocate of the former Hungarian Reformed Church, Cambria City. She loved her country and her president. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother and proud grandmother. She left a broken body and lept into the arms of Jesus. While we will be sad for ourselves, we must rejoice for Shirley, for her pain is over and she entered into true eternity of happiness. She will be missed. At Shirleyâs request, there will be no public viewing or service. Private entombment will be at Grandview Mausoleum.
