Shirley G. Penrod

Penrod, Shirley G., 85, of Mineral Point. Went to be with the Lord on Nov. 22, 2017, at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born Oct. 2, 1932, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Walter and Eva (Bibby) Weaver. Also preceded in death by husband, Richard; and siblings, Walter, Jr., William, Jack, Eugene, Gary, Wilmina Byers, Delores Montuoro and Mary Jane Armagost. Survived by children; Colleen Sayne and friend, Mike Armstrong; and Daryl (Lori) Penrod; grandchildren, Rick Sayne, Heather Sayne, Heidi Sayne, Tiffany Penrod, Travis Penrod and Hannah Penrod; great grandchildren, Robert, Nittany, Isabelle, Logan, Brantley, Olivia, Lydia, Summer, Brayleigh and Oliver George. Sister of Beverly Fowler and Darlene (Ron) Heider; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Franklin St. United Methodist Church, East Taylor Twp. Fire Co. Auxiliary and Sewing Club. Shirley was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family and was loved and adored by all. Shirley attended Elton Zion United Methodist Church where her son is Pastor. Friends received 3-7 PM Sunday at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh and from 10 AM to time of service at 11 AM Monday at Elton Zion United Methodist Church. Pastor Daryl Penrod and Rev.
