Shirley L. Paul

Paul, Shirley, L., 85, of Richland Township. Died May 8, 2019, at Windber Hospice. Born May 4, 1934, in Norristown, PA. Daughter of the late David H. and Evelyn M. (Dean) Warren. Preceded in death by husband of 56 years, Raymond E. Paul. Survived by children, Dianne L. wife of Rodney W. Kniss, Carol L. wife of John F. Macey and Gary A. Paul (girlfriend Alice Hummel); grandchildren, Heather wife of Paul Cassidy, Kristen wife of Mark Rager, Travis Kniss, and Kate Macey; great grandson, Dylan Cassidy “who was the apple of her eye”;brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends, including canine companion, Bailey. Shirley was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother who loved to be with her family.  She lived a life filled with dignity, grace, humor and kindness and was always known for her beautiful smile.  She was a devout member of Belmont United Methodist Church where for many years she chaired the College Ministry of sending cards to college students. Shirley has lived a good and active life filled with many friends.  She enjoyed attending basket parties, Soul Survivor events, Christian Women, Silver Sneakers and spending time with her family and friends.  She will be greatly missed by all. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, and from 10 am to time of service at 11 am Monday at Belmont U.M. Church. Pastor Jean A. Smith, officiating.
