James, Shirley (Wilson), 83, Weare, NH, formerly of Johnstown. Died December 31, 2014, in Bakersfield, CA. Born July 22, 1929, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Roos) Wilson. Preceded in death by loving husband, William James; and beloved son, Douglas James; brother Herbert Wilson and wife Hazel (Kirkwood); sister Bernice Barto and husband Albert. Survived by son, William James of Bakersfield, CA; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Former active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Johnstown. She followed her military husband throughout Europe during his 23 years of service to his country. Shirley was a very giving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
