Chirico, Shirley M., 83, of Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2013. She was born on May 13, 1930 in Emmett, ID, daughter of Glenn and Melva (Glenn) Baldwin. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Lucille Sanders. She was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Nicholas N. Chirico; daughter, Carolyn A., wife of Craig M. Saylor, Hollsopple, PA; grandchildren, Anthony, Katie, and Nicholas. Shirley was a graduate of Boise School of Nursing. As a nurse she served the Native American populations in Alaska, Hawaii, and Arizona. Shirley was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, quilting, sewing and will be remembered for her artistry. Shirley loved spending time with her entire family and close neighbors, especially her 3 grandchildren. At Shirleyâs request there will be no public viewing. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
