Sherrie L. Gleason

Gleason – Sherrie L., 56, East Taylor Township, went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2019. Born on February 16, 1963 in Johnstown, daughter of the late James R. and Gloria A. (Kovach) Gleason, Mineral Point. Preceded in death by her father; and infant brother, David. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving son, John J. Zellam III, Tire Hill; fiancé, Gary L. Saintz Jr., East Taylor; brothers, James Robert (Kim) Gleason Jr., Woodvale Heights, Walter Joseph (Linda) Gleason, East Taylor, Paul Anthony (Danielle) Gleason, Oakland, and Richard Earl (Gretchen) Gleason, Park Hill; several nieces, nephews, and her beloved dog, Simon. Sherrie was a 1981 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She was owner and operator of Sherrie’s Dog Grooming, Conemaugh. Sherrie enjoyed paddle boating at Wilmore and Hinckston Run Dam as well as fishing. She will be remembered for her loving nature and her great sense of humor. At Sherrie’s request, there will be no public viewing. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be directed to the family in memory of Sherrie.
