Thomas, Shelby Jean, 78, of Belmont. Died Mar. 13, 2015, at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born Dec. 21, 1936, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Kring) Haberkorn. Survived by husband of 61 years, Gerald C. Thomas; and daughters; Debora D. Thomas, Johnstown; and Robin, Salix. Also 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sister of Richard Hildebrand; and adopted daughter, Joy Ashurst, East Taylor Twp; and “Buddy the cat”. Viewing and service will be private at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh with Rev. John Weaver, officiating. Entombment at Richland cemetery Mausoleum.
