Shawn W. Miller

Miller – Shawn W., 40, Upper Yoder Township, went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born on June 16, 1977 in Johnstown, son of the late Mark A. Wills and Deborah E. (Morgart) Keirn, Upper Yoder Township. I addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Clara Morgart. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving step father, Tobie R. Keirn, Upper Yoder Township; brother, William R. Miller, married to the former Teresa L. Swope, Upper Yoder Township; several nieces, nephews, and many friends, including Ryan and Angie Plummer, Summerhill, PA. Shawn was a 1996 graduate of Forrest Hills High School. He was employed at Ebensburg State School as a care giver for 4 years. Shawn enjoyed fishing and playing video games. He loved his family dearly, especially his great nephew, Aaron “Bubba”. At Shawn’s request there will be no public viewing or service. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private inurnment will be at St. John’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be directed to his family in his memory.
