Sara J Wyrwas

Wyrwas, Sara Jane, 84, of East Conemaugh, went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2011.  Born on December 20, 1926 in Johnstown, Daughter of William and Ruth M. (Pfeiffer) Crotzer. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edmund C. Wyrwas and a brother, Robert Crotzer. She is survived by her children, Leonard, married to the former Karen Hildebrand, Vinco; Cecilia Marie, wife of Dr. Harold Ringler, Westmont; Gary, married to the former Carmellina Ragno, East Taylor Township; Mary Jane, wife of Charles Frank, Indiana and Roberta Wyrwas, Homer City; grandchildren, Tammy, wife of James Bradley, Lt Col Daniel  McNulty married to the former Christine Hudson, Garrett Wyrwas and his fiancée Susan Sefcik, Melina, wife of William Hudec, Carisa, wife of Ralph Burrows Jr., Gina, wife of Shaun Schellhammer, Raymond “Rayme” Vrabel married to the former Lindsey Silveri, Kristen Vrabel and her fiancé Daniel Weber, Christopher Vrabel, Britain, wife of Adam Kmetz, Justina Heidenthal and Aaron Heidenthal and his partner, Alicia Libitzer; great grandchildren, Joshua Eppley, Cameron Bradley, Jacob and Brianna McNulty, Christian Wyrwas, Julia Hudec, Luke and Ava Schellhammer, Addison Vrabel and Aubrey Heidenthal; brother, William Crotzer, Johnstown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her lifetime friend Ethel Balamuta. Jane was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration, East Conemaugh. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed camping, crossword puzzles, reading, cooking and hunting with her husband “Slick” and also was an avid Steeler and Penguin fan. Friends received from 2-8 pm Monday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh, where Vigil for the Deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday at the Church of the Transfiguration, Fr. Robert C. Hall, Pastor. Committal will be at Assumption Cemetery.
