Filorimo â Samuel K., 52, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on March 5, 1961 in Johnstown, son of Joseph Filorimo and Delores (Hildebrand) Rhodes. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joseph W. He is survived by his loving siblings Paulette I. Filorimo, and Debra K., wife of Joseph D. Keirn all of Johnstown, Carl S., Landover, MD; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Sam was a graduate of the former Intermediate Unit 8 âIU8â School in Vinco. He was a member of Moxham Lutheran Church. Sam was an active member of the Oakland Volunteer Fire Company, where he served with the Special Fire Police. He enjoyed watching the Steelers, working around the yard and woodworking. Sam was a lovable guy who touched many lives. Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Monday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Dr. Robert Wagner officiating. Private interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to the family in memory of Sam.
