Ruth M. Ziemba

Ziemba – Ruth M., 84, Cover Hill, formerly of Park Hill, went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2014 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born on September 17, 1929 in Elizabeth, NJ, daughter of George and Mae (Conrad) Miskowitz. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester A. Ziemba Sr. and daughter-in-law, Beverly D. Ziemba. She is survived by her loving children, Stanley C., married to the former Michele McIntosh, Camp Hill, PA, Chester A. Jr., married to the former Tracie Fey, Middletown, PA, and Virginia, wife of Denny Ribblett, Cover Hill; grandchildren, Christopher (Dixie) Ziemba, Stephanie (Erick) Moyer, Amanda and Elizabeth Ziemba, Missy Ziemba and her companion, Charles Shope, and Sara (Nicholas) Sackie; step grandchildren, Lisa M. Ribblett, Ronald Mussellman, and Susan Kulick; 6 great grandchildren, including special great grandson, Dylan M. Ziemba and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was employed with the former We Care Home Health as a care giver for several years. She was a member of Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. Ruth enjoyed watching TV, playing BINGO and activities at Laurelwood Care Center. She loved reading and dancing to polka music with her late husband, Chester. Ruth especially loved her family and always made herself available. Including the time she moved to Camp Hill to help take care of her daughter-in-law during her fight with cancer. At Ruth’s request there will be no public viewing. However, family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10 A.M. until time of Memorial Service at 11 A.M. on Saturday at Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship with Rev. Gary Tustin officiating. Private inurnment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh. The family suggests contributions be directed to Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship, 3429 Elton Road, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Ruth.
