Ruth E. Mills

Mills, Ruth E., 98, of Johnstown. Died on October 11, 2014 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born Feb. 12, 1916, in Franklin Boro. Daughter of the late Edward and Lillian (Yeager) Woy. Also preceded in death by husband of 34 years, Russell Flemming Mills; brother, William Woy; and sisters, Anna Laura Moore and Lucille Fern Weaver. Survived by son, David, married to the former Brenda M. (Kaufman), Richland; grandchildren, David, Jr. married to the former Linda (Gordon) and Craig, married to the former Stephanie (Hasser); Great grandchildren, Logan and Tyler. Ruth was a 1934 graduate of Johnstown High School. She was a member of Grove Ave. United Methodist Church for 88 years. At Ruth’s request there will be no public viewing or service. Private committal will be at Grandview Cemetery, with Rev. Jeffrey Conn officiating.
