Hartland (Kelley), Ruth K., 98, of Richland. Died Sept. 20, 2013, on National Alzheimerâs Awareness Day at Laurel View Village with her family at her bedside. Born July 19, 1915, in Richland Twp. Daughter of David and Clara (Custer) Bheam. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by first husband, Clarence E. Kelley and second husband, Shannon Hartland; son, Gary B. Kelley; sisters, Flo M. Curry, Martha Jean Hite, Lois F. Henry; brothers, Don Bheam; and David F. Bheam, Jr. in WW II. Survived by Daughter, Joye, wife of William Stephens, Davidsville; grandchildren, Kelley, married to Doug Hornbecker, Hagerstown, MD; Brad (special friend, Stephanie Martin) Kelley, South Fork; and Sarah Kelley, Elton; William (Tracy) Stephens, Boswell. Great grandchildren, Tyler and Brady Hornbecker, Matthew, Kimberly and Andrew Kelley; Ryan, Trevor and Cassandra Stephens; sister, Bettie Montgomery, San Antonio, TX; brother, Jack Bheam, married to the former Mary Lou Pages, Akron, OH; brothers-in-law, Richard Curry and Ray Henry; also numerous nieces and nephews. 1934 Graduate of Richland High School. Was oldest living member of Bethany United Methodist Church, serving in various positions at church during her lifetime. Past Matron and fifty year member of Anna L. Windolph Chapter No. 459, Order of Eastern Star. Past Worthy High Priestess and fifty year member of Decapolis Shrine No. 29. Ruth was a pioneer in the cosmetic industry as one of the first Mary Kay Cosmetics Consultants in the State of Pennsylvania. Friends received from 4-8 PM Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where service will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday. Rev. Patricia Cleary, officiating.
