Bowman, Roy C. Jr., âCalhounâ, 69, of Johnstown, passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2013. Born on May 20, 1943 in Johnstown. Son of Victor and Kathryn (Boring) Ochenrider. Preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Bowman. Junior is survived by his children, Roy C. III, (Patty), Honesdale, PA, Cathy Jo (Joe) Hebler, Altoona, PA, Clayton, U.S. Army; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Jim Bowman, Central City, Bobbi (Jerry) Currie, Cramer, PA, Debbi Barkley, Johnstown, and Vicki Bewak, WV and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Junior was a graduate of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. He was employed at Goodwill Industries, Johnstown and Shirleyâs Bakery, Altoona as a driver and later at Torkâs Auto Service, East Conemaugh, as an assistant. Junior enjoyed fishing, but especially loved spending time with his family. Friends will be received from 2 P.M. until time of service at 6 P.M. on Monday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Barron K. Deffenbaugh officiating. Private inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
