Rosella Marie LeRoy

LeRoy – Rosella Marie, 84, East Taylor Township, went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on September 1, 1930 in Johnstown, daughter of William Burton and Rosella Elizabeth (Mardis) Beard. Preceded in death by her parents; step father, Clyde Rorabaugh; husband, Phillip A. LeRoy; brothers, Richard and Robert; sister, Emma Lou Raimer, and daughter-in-law, Patricia Ann LeRoy. She is survived by her loving children, Phillip B., East Taylor Township, Donald N., married to the former Pam Steinmetz, Phoenix, AZ, and Duane L, married to the former Mary E. Elbertson, East Taylor Township; grandchildren, Seth Bertram, Sarah and Matthew LeRoy, Phillip, Joshua, Dannialle and Alexandra LeRoy; brothers, Edward (Dora) Beard, Aurora, CO, and William (Betty) Beard, Blackwood, NJ; numerous nieces, nephews; and special friends, Ida Barone, FL and Lillian Clifton, MO. Marie was faithful in keeping touch with all her extended family with cards and letters. Marie was a1949 graduate of East Conemaugh High School. She was a member of Summit Chapel United Methodist Church. Marie enjoyed making crafts and baking. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother. At Marie’s request there will be no public viewing or service. Private inurnment will be at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. The family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh.
