Rosalie Elaine Chesnutwood

CHESNUTWOOD---Rosalie Elaine (Charney), 81, Salix, went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2019, at Windber Hospice.  Born January 17, 1938 in Windber,   daughter of the late Frank Charney and Thomas R. and Helen (Burbulla-Charney) Boyd. Preceded in death by beloved husband, James Chesnutwood in 2014 and brother-in-law, C. Lee Chesnutwood in 2012. Survived by loving children Alan J. Chesnutwood, daughter, Diane Chesnutwood-Rosage, married to Robert D. Rosage, Jr. ; grandsons, Joshua Chesnutwood and Simeon Rosage. Also survived by brother, William Charney, married to Rose (Sainsbury), Phoenix, AZ; brother-in-law, Kenneth Chesnutwood married to Sharon (Horner), Salix, PA; Sister-in-law, Esther (Baumgardner) Chesnutwood, Geistown,  numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Rosalie was a faithful, active member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Salix and the Goodwill Sunday School Class.  She was church and Salix Historian and worked in various insurance offices, including Prudential.  1955 Richland High School Graduate. Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bethel United Methodist Church, 1021 Forest Hills Drive, Salix with Pastor Don Poole, officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
