Ronald J. Fyock

FYOCK—Ronald J., 91, Richland, passed away on May 17, 2023 at Windber Hospice. Born March 24, 1932, in Johnstown, son of Clyde S. and Hattie (McDowell) Fyock. Preceded in death by parents; son, Randy Fyock and daughter-in-law, Pamela Fyock. Survived by wife of nearly 71 years, Ardeth L. (Gerber) Fyock; and children, Gary Fyock and wife, Barbara, Wisconsin; Timothy Fyock and wife, Darlene, North Carolina; Daniel Fyock, Virginia; and Kimberly Fuellner, Shelocta; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother-in-law, Lester Gerber and wife, Donna, Parkhill. Member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, where he served as a deacon for several years. Ron was retired from the Washington Gas Company, Springfield, Virginia. He enjoyed spending his time golfing and playing cards. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Pastor Michael Christine officiating.
