Rodger A. Pergrim

PERGRIM---Rodger A., 67, of East Taylor Twp., passed away on August 28, 2022 at home. Born May 21, 1955 in Johnstown, son of the late Allen B. Pergrim and Betty Helene (Mock) Pergrim. Survived by siblings Karen D. Pergrim, Lois A. Pergrim, and Jeffrey M. Pergrim of Johnstown and David W. Pergrim of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Also survived by two nephews. A 1973 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. Rodger was a US. Army and Marine Corps veteran. He retired from the Greater Johnstown Water Authority in 2021. Rodger was a private, mild-mannered individual who enjoyed reading his many versions of the Bible and spending time with his family. He greatly appreciated the friendship of his neighbors. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family is being served by Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First St., Conemaugh. Cremation by Laurel Highlands Crematory at Harris Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial contributions to Summit Chapel United Methodist Church, 2142 William Penn Ave., Johnstown, PA 15909, in memory of Rodger A. Pergrim.
