Meske-Robert W. “Bob” 92 of Richland Township, passed away on April 27, 2021, at Windber Hospice. He was born on September 15, 1928, in Johnstown, son of the late William and Anna (Glassie) Meske. Preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Louise and George Bauer and nephew, Robert Bauer, sisters Freda A. and Alice F. Meske, brother William C. Meske, married to former Marion Steeg. Robert is survived by wife of 45 years Norma J. Meske, son Walter Miller married to the former Melissa Vivis, daughter Wendy Shaw married to Joseph “Whatchamacallit” Shaw, daughter Jennifer Meske, daughter Sandra Yachere married to John “Goat” Yachere. Survived also by nephews George “Butch” Bauer, William “Billy” Meske and niece Dorothy “Dotty” Solowsky married to Harry Solowsky . Survived by grandchildren Troy Miller fiancé Meagan Wolfhope, Cassandra “Kathy” Coshun, Chad Miller, James “Jimmy” Shaw married to former Casey Boyle, Heather Yachere. Survived by great grandchildren: Emilie, Bentley, Landon, Kinsley, Kora, Savannah, Skyla, Ella, Miles. Robert was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Johnstown. He was employed at the Meske Coal Company, Richland School and Miller Block. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching the Steelers, cutting grass, having his garden, and just sitting on his back porch swinging. Robert loved having family parties with everyone playing cards, drinking and listen to the family members play music. When he was able to get up and dance, he loved dancing with everyone. Robert enjoyed always having the family puppies around with him as he sat on his porch, and they kept him company in the house. Robert was stationed in Alaska during the Korean War. At the request of Robert there will be no military service. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, and again from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Rev.
