Robert G. Kloo

KLOO—Robert G. 85 passed away on Dec. 25, 2024 at home. Born March 7, 1939, in Bethlehem, son of George and Barbara (Hilbert) Kloo. Preceded in by parents; and infant son, Kevin; brothers, George, John, Joseph, Stephen and William; sisters, Theresa Frisoli, Elizabeth Lynn, Margaret Pelizoto, Irene Payonk, Goldie and Mary Ann Kloo. Survived by loving wife of 56 years, Sandra M. whom he married August 24, 1968, children, Karen Jasper, East Conemaugh, Robert Jr. and wife, Amanda, North Carolina; grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew and Adam Jasper and Isaac and Elliot Kloo. Brother of Barbara Raykos and Edward Kloo and wife, Paula. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was a Navy Veteran (MM2), mostly aboard the USS Meredith (DD890). He worked at Bethlehem Steel for 30 Years in Bethlehem, Lebanon and Johnstown, and finally at Johnstown Technologies for 9 years. Member of the Knights of Columbus. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday Jan 2. 2025 at 10 am at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, with Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Entombment, Richland Cemetery.
