Richard D. Roberts

Roberts – Richard D., 67, Windber, went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2022. Born on May 11, 1954 in Johnstown, son of Ralph and Sara (Ostheim) Roberts. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin G. Roberts; siblings, Sara L. Wingard, and Charles G. Roberts; brother-in-law, Rick Hilbrecht. He is survived by his loving children, Von C. (Jessica) Roberts, Hollsopple, PA, Charles R. (Katie) Roberts, Windber, PA, and Nikki L. Roberts, Windber, PA; grandchildren, Hannah, David, Miley, Layla, Tristan, Kaden, Bella, Rachel, Charlotte, and Sarah; sisters, Shirley Hilbrecht, Janet (Bill) Danchanko, Charlotte (Dave) Moors, Patti (Steve) Torchia and several nieces and nephews. Richard was owner and operator of Richard’s Carpentry and Remodeling for over 26 years. He also was employed at various places, including, Buds Auto Sales, and Bethlehem Coal Mines. He enjoyed going to the beach as well as bike riding. Richard loved his children and grandchildren. At Richard’s request there will be no public viewing. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
